Burlesque Charity Night

Last week I was asked to shoot a charity burlesque night by a friend of mine who was co-running it. Unfortunately their photographer had fallen ill, but this misfortune gave me the fantastic opportunity to take photos at certainly one of the more interesting shoots I’ve done to date!

The performers were all full of energy and they all had different performances, from a spoken monologue, to the lady above who magically transformed from a baby into the Clitoraurus Rex, running about in search of unfulfilled sexual relief!

The event was held in a fashion shop in the East End of London which had a bar along the side as well. It was held in honour of the Orchid Project¬†and was organised by the Cheek Of It School of Burlesque. It was a fantastic night, the merkins were excellent and I’m very much looking forward to shooting the ladies again.
